The challenge: financial hardship & limited opportunities

Many widows lack access to credit, business skills, and income-generating opportunities.

Without economic stability, basic needs like food, healthcare, and education become out of reach.

Nyogaya Foundation bridges this gap through financial education, savings groups, and business support.

Our shelter program: More than just a house

Of widows in our communities struggle to meet basic financial needs.

Economic security stands as a corner stone of the foundation mission and vision and to bolster this pillar, the foundation has implemented robust initiative to empower members financially. One of such initiative is the training provided to all the jewel groups on village savings and loaning methodology fostering a culture of financial responsibility and empowerment.
In addition, to village savings and loaning, the foundation has introduced a revolving fund for the jewels. This fund has enabled members to access additional loans which support to further expand their businesses and pursue economic opportunities.
